Recommerce strengthens its leadership with Top-Tier appointments to drive European expansion

Gentilly, April 13, 2026 – Recommerce, the European pioneer of refurbishement, announced today a strategic milestone in its growth. The company is opening a new chapter in its corporate governance by welcoming four renowned industry experts to its leadership and advisory teams.
Founded in 2009, Recommerce is currently reporting double-digit growth (+20%) and an annual revenue of €210 million. The group is set on becoming Europe’s leading player in the trade-in and resale of refurbished high-tech devices. Now operating in over 20 countries, the group hit a key milestone in 2025 with the acquisition of Verkaufen, solidifying its leadership in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and becoming an Apple and Samsung Authorized Service Provider.

Strengthened governance with new appointments:
Elisabeth Moreno – Currently President of Leaders Engagés, Chair of the Board of Ring Capital, and head of the Femmes@Numérique Foundation, the former French Minister Delegate joins the board to provide global strategic expertise. Following a distinguished career at Lenovo, HP, and Dell, she combines tech operational mastery with a deep-seated commitment to a more inclusive, sustainable economy.
Yves Maitre – A visionary in the mobile industry, Yves has led global strategies for giants like Orange and served as CEO of HTC. His deep understanding of global telecom ecosystems and his ability to forge strategic alliances with major manufacturers will be instrumental in scaling the group’s industrial and partnership capabilities.
Raoul Costa de Beauregard – A specialist in hyper-growth and the circular economy. Formerly the COO of Back Market, he spearheaded the operational scaling of the French unicorn. His expertise in marketplace management, supply chain, and customer experience is a major strategic asset for Recommerce’s industrial ramp-up.
Mathieu Baudier – A graduate of Centrale Paris with a strong background at software leaders like SAP and Murex, Baudier is currently CEO of Argeo and a co-maintainer of AI packages for Debian Linux. He joins the newly formed "Tech Board" to drive AI excellence and champion responsible, energy-efficient AI implementation.
Charles-Antoine Saltiel – Currently Head of Equity Holdings at Bouygues Développement, he succeeds Benoît Michard on the Supervisory Board. His appointment ensures continuity in the long-standing partnership between Recommerce and Bouygues Telecom, reaffirming the strength of this strategic alliance.
A partnership built to last
This new momentum was celebrated at Recommerce’s headquarters in Gentilly during a shareholder event on March 30, 2025. Members of the board met with long-term partners, including Bouygues Telecom, to discuss the future of the circular economy. The presence of Edward Bouygues, Chairman of Bouygues Telecom, underscored the enduring bond between the two companies and their shared commitment to sustainable digital solutions.
